Trout Creek, Montana is situated in the Clark Fork River Valley approximately 115 miles NW of Missoula, and 65 miles East of Sandpoint, Idaho. The Clark Fork River, a tributary of the Columbia runs the length of the Valley in Sanders County. The sparkling waters of the Clark Fork River are full of trout and bass, and the river is great for water sports with three reservoirs open to the public. The county encompasses the cabinet Mountain Wilderness, as well as three national forests. Within close proximity are Glacier National Park, the Ross Creek Giant Cedars, Grave's Creek Falls, Lake Pend Oreille, and many more 'outdoor enthusiasts' attractions.
